Every piece at Blackland Studio is commissioned, drawn, and built by hand in our Dallas workshop. Walnut dining tables, steel and oak shelving, original paintings sized to the wall they hang on.

Three kinds of work leave the studio. All of it is built to order, and none of it is repeated.

Dining tables, desks, credenzas, beds, and shelving in walnut, white oak, and mesquite. We measure your room, draw the piece, and build it to fit.

Original paintings and wall pieces made for a specific room. You choose the palette and the scale, and we send studies before any paint touches canvas.

Library walls, window seats, banquettes, and media cabinetry that read as part of the house. Installed by the same hands that built them.
The studio
Blackland Studio is a one room workshop near downtown Dallas. We work in small numbers on purpose: a handful of commissions at a time, each one drawn by hand and built start to finish by the same person who answers your first email.
Most of our lumber comes from Texas mills, and most of our clients live within twenty miles of the shop. We deliver and install every piece ourselves.
